It’s that time of the year again! Black Friday and Cyber Monday are approaching, and we all know that customers expect deep discounts from everyone. However, for some businesses, it can be daunting to give big discounts or come up with a grand marketing gesture, especially if profit margins are not very high (something quite common in the mobile repair industry).

But fear not! You can still find a way to bring attention to your shop without going over your budget. The key here is to choose at least one or two simple deals/actions that can add value to the customer experience!

  1. Give Something for Free With Every Repair

A tempered glass, battery check (or even a battery replacement for some models), a free diagnosis, anything you can simply give to your customer when they come in for a repair that day. Make sure to always state the proposition value to underscore the deal they’re getting. Ex: “Free tempered glass with repair – $20 value”

  1. Screen Warranty

“Broke your iPhone screen? No problem! Repair your phone today and get a 3-month warranty!” Simple and easy, and if they come back for another repair with the warranty, upsell them with a battery replacement or a new case to generate more profit in the future.

  1. Slash Prices on Accessories

How about 10% off on store accessories? Highlight the best selling products and give a significant discount on them, or a “Buy one, get a second for half-off”. This is also a good way of getting rid of old inventory taking up a valuable real estate on your shelves.

  1. Bundle Products

Instead of selling them individually, bundle products together like a phone case, tempered glass, and a headphone set, for example. Bundles make great presents (hello, Christmas!), and they’re also a great way to upsell customers. You can even offer a discount if customers buy three related items.

  1. Make it a Party!

Attract more people to your store by adding some music, snacks, and drinks! It doesn’t have to be fancy, just create a festive feeling for everyone that comes in for a repair or to shop for accessories! Don’t forget to post about it in your social media pages to let everyone know they should stop by.
